Victoria L. Breton

AlfredVictoria L. Breton, 71, of Alfred, ME died Thursday morning May 10, 2001 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford.Mrs. Breton was born on January 11, 1930 in Lynn, Mass. She was the daughter of Victor and Mary Bertolotti Chiappini. It was there that she attended schools. Mrs. Breton had moved from Massachusetts to Maine over 25 years ago. She had been a resident of York County the entire time, and most recently lived in Alfred since 1994. One of her favorite pastimes was vacationing in Rangeley, ME.She was a communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Sanford. When she was not tending to her children, or grandchildren Mrs. Breton enjoyed crafting, knitting, gardening, or cooking the world's most delicious lasagna.Above all Mrs. Breton was a devoted mother and homemaker for her children and grandchildren. Family was her number one priority.Mrs. Breton is predeceased by her son Frank L. Breton who died in 1999.Surviving is a son Thomas of Shapleigh; four daughters, Carol Rogers of Shapleigh, Donna Maguire of Sanford, Darlene Breton of Sanford, Francine Cram of Shapleigh; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving is a sister Elizabeth Borelli of Lynn, Mass. and several nieces and nephews.Visiting hours for Mrs. Breton will be held on Monday May 14, 2001 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main St. Springvale, ME; where prayers will be said on Tuesday May 15, 2001 at 12:30 PM prior to a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family R.C.
