Marjorie E. "Midge" Bradstreet, 93, of Sanford, Maine, formerly of Beverly Massachusetts, died on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford.Midge was born on August 23, 1925 to Adin and Eleanor (Crafts) Thompson in Beverly, Massachusetts. She was the last surviving member of a family of nine children. Midge attended local schools and graduated from Beverly High School. Following high school, she attended Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene where she studied to become a dental hygienist. Midge worked as a dental hygienist at Manchester-by the-Sea for Dr James (Jim) Reid for many years until her retirement. She married Robert L. Bradstreet September 1955 and, together they raised two daughters. Midge and Bob shared nearly 48 years of marriage until his death in 2003.Midge moved with her husband Bob to Sanford, Maine in 1995 to be closer to family. She loved flower gardening, bird watching, and cooking. She had been a member of the Dane Street Congregational Church in Beverly prior to relocating to Maine. She will be remembered as a sweet and loving woman who was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed.Midge was predeceased by her husband Robert, and daughter Jane Elizabeth Bradstreet.Surviving are a daughter, Carol Warren of Shapleigh, Maine; a grandson, Hunter Warren of Portland, Maine and many nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 28th at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly Massachusetts. Interment will follow at Central Cemetery Located on Hale Street in Beverly.Arrangements in Maine are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale, Maine.
