Ro-Ann E. Bosley, 59, of Lebanon, died at her home on October 17, 2011, after a 30 year struggle with multiple sclerosis.Ro-Ann was born in Roswell, New Mexico on August 22, 1952 to Rolf and Ruth (Hammond) Wurster. She grew up in Sanford where she attended local schools. In 1969 she married David Bosley and the couple moved to Germany where he was stationed with the U.S. Army. After living in Germany for a time the couple moved back to the United States and settled back on Ro-Ann's home town area so that they could raise a family.Ro-Ann was employed as General Electric in Somersworth, New Hampshire for approximately 15 years until she had to retire due to declining health. She enjoyed sewing and rug hooking and when she was younger she liked to go bowling with her husband. She was an animal lover and was particularly fond of the birds and cats that she kept over the years. She was also a music lover and liked to play the organ. When she was in high school she also played the clarinet and the oboe in the marching band. Ro-Ann was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and daughter. She maintained a positive attitude during her illness and always remained hopeful and upbeat. She will be remembered as a kind and loving woman and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.Ro-Ann was predeceased by her husband David Bosley Sr.Surviving are two children, David Bosley Jr. of Berwick and Jennifer Burton of Nottingham, NH; her mother, Ruth Hammond of Sanford; four grandsons, Dane Bosley of Sanford and Kru, Tripp and Cash Donovan, all of Nottingham, NH and her great grandson, Tyson Bernard of Springvale.Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 20th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Maine Chapter, 170 US Route One, Suite 200, Falmouth, Maine 04105.
