Sandra J. Bonsall

Sandra J. Bonsall, 57, of Sanford, died on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.Sandra was born in Sanford on July 4, 1956 to William and Joyce (Normandeau) Pelletier. She attended Sanford schools and graduated from Sanford High School in 1974. In 1976 she married Rod Bonsall and together they shared 37 years of marriage. Sandra enjoyed making crafts of all types which she would donate to various hospital and military organizations. She enjoyed playing Bingo, gardening and watching the wildlife around her home. She will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother and daughter and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.Sandra was predeceased by her step-son, William Bonsall and by a sister, Susan Pelletier.Surviving are her husband, Rod Bonsall of Sanford; her step-daughter, Pamela Jean Bonsall of Venice, Florida; her parents, William and Joyce Pelletier of Sanford; her brother, Scott Pelletier of Sanford; her special cousins, Nancy and Gary Ham of Sanford, special uncle, Robert Butler of Sanford and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at Forest Grove Cemetery in Lebanon at a date to be announced.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
