Rebecca S. "Becky" Bolduc, 62, of Shapleigh, died March 1 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland after a brief illness.She was born in Sanford on April 14, 1948, the daughter of Richard I. and Arlene (Stanley) Skillin. She attended Sanford schools and was a 1966 graduate of Sanford High School.She was employed for many years with the former Vishay Sprague in Sanford.Becky was a homebody. She was very proud of the fact that she had her home built and took great pains to keep the property and especially the grounds in impeccable condition. Her family quipped that she would always balk at taking any trips because the grass and her vegetable gardens might get away from her. She loved doing outdoor work and would help other family members and friends to maintain their yards. Another property she was particularly fond of was the family camp on Loon Pond in Acton.Becky loved horses, especially her favorite steed, Thomas. She never raced or showed horses, she just like having them as pets and for pleasure riding.Family was most important to Becky. She was a great cook and always willing to help those in need of assistance. And the light of her life was her granddaughter Jennifer.Survivors include her mother Arlene Skillin, a son, Tony Bolduc both of Acton, a daughter Emily Ronayne and a granddaughter Jennifer Ronayne both of Bradenton, FL.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 5-7 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Diabetes Association, 80 Elm Street, Portland, ME 04101.
