Andre D. Boisse, 79, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.He was born on May 22, 1939 to Doris and Celina (Forest) Boisse in Biddeford where he grew up and attended local schools, including St. Louis School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for six years. During his service he was stationed in Limestone in the Surface to Air Missile System.When he returned home he earned an Associate's Degree in Business and he applied his business skills as a manager and owner of five apartment buildings in Biddeford. Andre was also a General Foreman Maremont (which is now General Dynamics)in Saco during his working career and retired from there. He was also President of the Foreman's Club. He attended church at Crossroads Methodist Church in Sanford.Andre was detail oriented, and enjoyed his tractors and maintaining them. He also was talented in woodworking and made toys such as rocking horses, toy cars and game boards for his children and grandchildren. He liked gardening and watching football, and he loved his cats.Traveling with his wife was another thing he enjoyed and together they took several trips around the world.He is predeceased by his parents, a brother, George Boisse and a sister Anita Allen.Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Judith (Wood) Boisse, his children, Brenda Boisse, of Concord, NH, Marc Boisse and his wife Cara of Shapleigh, Eric Boisse and his wife Yi, of Arundel, Debra Heath and her husband Michael, of Sanford, Denise Boisse, of Waterboro, Christopher Boisse, of Biddeford, his step-children, Sean Garron and his wife Deborah, of Shapleigh, Douglas Garron and his wife Shelly of West Newfield, and Tracy Desaulniers, of Lebanon, twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, December 15, at 2:00 P.M. with an hour of visitation prior at Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale. Burial will be held at Southern Maine Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in the spring.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider making a donation to Gosnell Memorial Hospice House at 11 Hunnewell Drive, Scarborough, ME 04074.
