Jonathan Blanchette

Jonathan Michael Blanchette, 16, of North Waterboro passed away unexpectedly Sept. 2, 2010. Jon lived on Clarks Bridge Road from the time he was a year old. He was a junior at Massabesic High School and excited to learn a new career in computer science at the Sanford Regional Vocational Center.Jon loved his family and his many friends who all loved him very much. Jon also loved playing guitar and he wrote music which he recorded on videos. Jon was a top player in an international online video game, liked snowboarding and skateboarding and liked to stay in shape. He spent his early years playing soccer and finding new friends, many of whom were with him since kindergarten.Jon is survived by his parents Charlene and Joe Blanchette, his older brother Joe, his grandfather Elwin Chadbourne, aunts Millie, Phyllis, Julie, Susan, Helen and Sylvia, uncles Mike, Shannnon, Arthur, and Steve, and his special friend Kendall.Jon was predeceased by his grandparents Phillip and Virginia Shuffleburg-Blanchette.Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 at Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale.
