Marguerite Yvonne Yeram

Marguerite Yvonne Yeram, 93, of Sanford, died January 22 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough after a brief illness.She was born in Sanford on June 2, 1916, the youngest of 12 children born to Edmond and Sedulie (Prince) Grenier, attended Sanford schools and was a lifelong Sanford resident.She was employed over the years with several local shoe shops as a stitcher.Basically happiest at home, she took great joy in her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed tending to her various flower and vegetable gardens.Her husband, James Yeram, died in 1972. She was also predeceased by all of her siblings.Survivors include her daughter, Doris Wein of Newton Center, MA, her son, Gerald Yeram and his wife Cynthia of Acton, grandson Brent Wein of Warren, VT, grandsons Matthew Yeram and his wife Isabel, James Yeram, his wife Amanda and their children Logan and Emma, both of whom are stationed with the US Marine Corps in California.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 3:00 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale where relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 2-3 PM.
