Ruth A. Watson

Ruth A. Watson, 85, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday January 23, 2007 at her home. She was born in Rangeley, Maine on May 16, 1921, a daughter of Don and Lola (Brackett) Pillsbury. She graduated from Sanford High School in 1941. On March 17, 1956 she married Norman E. Watson.For many years she was employed by Allied and Universal Shoe Shops. After retirement, along with her husband they enjoyed tending to the garden and taking care of their animals. She is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Norman E. Watson who passed away on April 15, 2005.She is survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.An hour of visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 6, from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 10am at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home 580 Main Street in Springvale.
