LYMAN Lorette A Bennett 75 a long time resident of Lyman died Thursday at her home following a short illness. Lorette was born in Biddeford on April 22, 1933 a daughter of Daniel & Mary (Belleau) Cyr. She attended the former St. Joseph school in Biddeford and the Cousins Memorial school in Goodwins Mills. She was employed at the former Kesselin Shoe co. of Kennebunk and later at Giant's King's and Rich's all formerly in Biddeford. Lorette was a charter member of the Massabesic Athletic Boosters and a faithful Massabesic High School football supporter and fan. As well with her Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtic's. Altoghter she was an active sports fan.She most enjoyed time with family, espically the grandchildren. She enjoyed the 'ponies'(horse racing) and playing penny poker.She was a faithful communicant of Good Shephard Parish, St. Philip Church in Goodwins Mills.She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Francis A. and five sons, Steven and his wife Susan, Richard and his wife, Jennifer all of Lyman, David and his wife Deborah of Berwick, Michael and his wife Lisa of No. Waterboro and Scott of Limerick. Three daughters, Kathleen Lapierre and her husband Thomas of Sanford, Nancy Creamer and Susan Daigle and her husband Steven both of Lyman. Her sister Irene Begin of Georgia and fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4 :00 to 8 :00 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St.., Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 10 :00 AM Monday at Good Shephard Parish, St. Philip Church, in Goodwins Mills.In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to the Massabesic Football Assn. at 88 West Rd., So.
