Robert G. Thibeault

Robert (Bob) G. Thibeault fell asleep and went home to be with his Lord on October 9, 2019. He was born on January 25, 1943 in Sanford, ME. He graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1963. He served his country in the Army National Guard for 4 years and received his bachelor of arts degree at Nasson College.He was employed at S.D. Warren/Sappi for 36 years and in his retirement worked for Napa as a delivery driver for 12 years.He loved to hunt and spent time every fall at camp hunting with his friends.Weekends he loved to take short trips to explore his beloved state. He loved finding new places, but his heart was always on the coast, with his favorite being Bar Harbor.His greatest joy in life was always his family. He was so proud of each one and bragged about his children and grandchildren to everyone.He was predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Blanche (Morin) Thibeault, his brother, Maurice Thibeault and his sister, Lucille (Thibeault) Cobbett.He is survived and greatly missed by his wife of 38 years, Janet (Shuman) Thibeault, his 3 children, Thomas and his wife, Anita Thibeault, Scott and his wife, Laurie Proctor, and Shawna her husband, Frederick Lyons; 4 grandchildren, Cameron and his wife Jacqueline Thibeault, Nathan Proctor, Ryan Turcotte and his fiancee, Demi Merrett, and Alisha Proctor; and one very special great-granddaughter, Kallie Thibeault.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
