Cecile L. Therrien

Cecile L. Therrien, 94, a lifelong resident of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday March 10, 2015 at the Newton Center in Sanford. She was born in Sanford on June 10, 1920 a daughter of the late George and Malvina (Martin) L'Heureux. She attended Holy Family School and was a communicant of Holy Family Parish.She was employed by the local mills, Eastern Plastics and finally she worked in the housekeeping department at both the H. D. Goodall Hospital and Hillcrest Manor.She is predeceased by her husband, Andrew Therrien who passed away in 1954.She is survived by one son, Roger E. Therrien and his wife Susan of Sanford, one daughter, Rachel Spencer and her husband William of Gorham, two brothers, Real L'Heureux of Sanford and Fr. Ernest L'Heureux of Sanford, six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildrenA Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:00 noon at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church in Springvale.
