Josephine M. Therrien

Josephine M. Therrien, 87, of Sanford, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford. She was born in Dover, NH on September 13, 1925 a daughter of the late Eid and Basma (Schedid) Allis. For 40 years she worked in local shoe shops, Allied and Nike Shoe.She was a communicant of St. Therese of Lisieux Parish.She is predeceased by her husband, Gerard Therrien who passed away in 1988.She is survived by one son, Garry V. Therrien and his wife, Lydia of Windham, one brother, Joseph F. Allis of Newmarket, NH, niece Rose L. Brown and her husband, Aaron of Kennebunk as well as several other nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 4PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
