Raymond E. Taschereau

Raymond E. Taschereau, 77, of Sanford, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Southridge Rehab and Living Center in Biddeford. He was born in Kennebunkport on April 3, 1933, a son of the late Laurette Taschereau. . He retired from Aero Fab where he had been employed as a tool and dye maker. He was a life member of the Sanford VFW, a member of the Wolves Club and the American Legion.He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Desmarais) Taschereau of Sanford; eight children, Denise Brisebois and her boyfriend, Chevy of Sanford, Diane Perry of Sanford, Donna Hawker and her husband, Bill of Sanford, Michael Taschereau of Sanford, Laurette Carrier and her husband, Jean of Sanford, Florida, Ronnie Taschereau of Springvale, Raymond Taschereau of Sanford and Karen Libeson of East Hampton, CT; three sisters, Rachel Martel and her husband George of West Kennebunk, Jeannette Stone of Saco, and Priscilla Garland and her husband, Bob of Hollis, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.A graveside service will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Biddeford in the spring.Arrangements are under the direction of the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
