David L. Stone, 58, of Sanford, died at his home on Saturday, April 20, 2013.David was born in Westbrook on November 10, 1954 to Ernest and Marilyn (Goodwin) Maberry, Sr. When he was a young child his family relocated to Biddeford where he grew up and attended local schools. David worked several manufacturing jobs during his working life. He also drove trucks for several years and operated a side business painting houses.David enjoyed flower gardening, fishing, camping and spending time outdoors. He was a former member of the Sanford Knights of Columbus and the Sanford Call Fire Department. He was an outgoing person with a lot of friends. He enjoyed helping family and friends whenever they needed a hand. David will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.David was predeceased by a brother, Larry Stone and a sister, Tina Ramous.Surviving are his wife, Diane Stone of Sanford; three daughters, Theresa Stone, Joanne Stone and Jessica Stone, all of Sanford; two grandchildren, Danielle Stuart and David Michael Stone, both of Sanford and nine siblings, James Stone of North Carolina, Gary Stone of Sanford, Steve Stone of Tennessee, Karen Chagnon of Porter; Eleanor Bedard of Kennebunk, Paul Maberry of Saco, Earl Maberry of Waterboro, Scott Maberry of Scarborough and Lisa Stone of Sanford.Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24th at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home located at 29 Winter Street in Sanford.
