Ronald J. St. Laurent

Ronald J. St. Laurent, 62, of Acton, passed away following a lenghty illness on Friday January 4, 2008 at the H.D. Goodall Hospital in Sanford. Born in Sanford on March 6, 1945, Ronald was a son of J. Raymond and Marabelle (Guillemette) St. Laurent. He attended local Sanford schools and was proud of the service he gave to his country in the United States Marine Corps. Ronald was an accomplished Certified Master Plumber. He worked at the Seabrook Station and retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. During his years at the shipyard he held various positions as a pipefitter, instructor, ship board tester and as an inspector. A devoted husband, father and pepere, he enjoyed and cherished spending quality time with family and friends on Great East Lake.He is predeceased by his parents J. Raymond and Marabelle St. Laurent, two brothers, Richard St. Laurent and Paul St. Laurent, one son, Ricky St. Laurent and one granddaughter, Ashley Rae St. Laurent.Ronald is survived by his wife of 22 years, Terry L. St. Laurent of Acton, four daughters, Kimberly Foss and her husband, Austin of Temple, Maine, Rhonda Baker and her husband, Rob of West Newfield, Molly St. Laurent and Scott Negri of Sanford, Emily LaPlante and her fiance, Jason Provencher of Sanford, three sons, Douglas St. Laurent of Concord, CA, Michael LaPlante and his wife, Marisela of Sanford and Adam St. Laurent of Acton, one brother, Roger St. Laurent and his wife, Elaine of Sanford, two sisters, Jeannine Seavey and Judy St. Laurent both of Sanford, two sisters in law, Betty St. Laurent of Wells and Laurette St. Laurent of Milton Mills, NH, 17 grandchildren, Garrett, Chelsea, Curtis, Gracie, Chrystal, Trisha, Amanda L., Amanda B., Tabitha, Jesse, Brittany, Christian, Briana, Kaleb, Yvette, Olivia, Owen, four great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and two special friends, Dan and Stella Pelletier.Visiting hours for Ronald will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebated on Wednesday at 11am at St. Therse of Lisieux -St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Sanford.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Camp Waban in Memory of Ricky St. Laurent, 5 Dunaway Drive, Sanford, Maine 04073.Condolences may be expressed at the condolences tab at left.
