Noella J. Simard

Noella J. Simard, 92, of Sanford and formerly of Biddeford, passed away on Sunday September 13, 2009 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford. She was born on December 23, 1916, a daughter of Joseph and Malvina (Aubry) Lemelin.Mrs. Simard was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church in Sanford. She enjoyed travelling, gardening, cooking and was an excellent seamstress. Never having any children of her own, she was a mother figure to her many nieces and nephews.She is predeceased by her husband, Theodore Simard who passed away in 1993. She is also predeceased by four brothers, Leo Lemelin, Harvey Lemelin, Paul Lemelin and Raymond Lemelin.She is survived by one brother, Gerard Lemelin of South Carolina as well as many nieces and nepehws.A Graveside service will be held on Friday September 18th at 1 :00 PM at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford.Arrangements are under the direction of the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.To leave the family a message of condolence please use the "condolences" tab to the left.
