Beatrice Sevigney

Beatrice Eveleen (Tuttle) Sevigney 73, of Sanford, passed away following a short illness on March 31, 2010 at the H.D. Goodall Hospital. Her loving family was by her bedside. One of 19 children, she was born in Limington, on October 28, 1936 a daughter of the late Martin and Eveleen (England) Tuttle.At a young age she lost her father. She always respected her brothers for holding the family together through tough times for her mother and sisters.On October 27, 1962, she married Richard A. Sevigney in Sanford. Beatrice worked in Rochester for 17 years in shoe factories. She retired from Sprague Electric with 32 years of service. Beatrice was a hard worker who devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed hanging out after work with her friend Connie Allaire of Waterboro and their grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Richard of Sanford, two children, Daniel Sevigney of Monson and Pamela Sevigney of Haverhill, MA, one grandson, Joey Charron of Haverhill, her siblings, Harry Tuttle of Florida, Maurice Tuttle and Richard Tuttle of Sanford, William Tuttle of Alfred, Rose Tuttle, Betty Bernier of Sanford and Helena Campbell of Wells.A Funeral Mass for Beatrice will be held on Friday April 9th at 11AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church in Sanford.Arrangements are under the direction of the Lafrance- Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.To leave the family a message of condolence please use the "condolences" tab to the left.
