Therese C. Roy

Therese C. Roy, 82, of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford following a long battle with diabetes. She was born in Biddeford on March 5, 1927, a daugther of Oscar and Aurore (Gendron) Custeau. She attended St. Joseph School. For many years she was employed at the Pepperell Manufacturing Company. She moved to Sanford from Biddeford in 1976 and was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church where she was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.She is predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Caouette who passed away in 1973 and her second husband, Ralph Roy who died in 1988. She is also predeceased by one son, Ronald Caouette.She is survived by her daughter in law, Linda Caouette, step granddaughter, Beth White and her husband, David, step great granddaughter, Emily White. She also leaves nieces and nephews.At her request there will be no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 29 at 11AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, St. Ignatius Church in Sanford.
