Marie Anna Rouillard

Marie Anna Rouillard, 105, of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday July 25, 2012 at the H.D. Goodall Hospital in Sanford. She was born in St. Julien, Wolftown County Quebec Canada on March 9, 1907, a daughter of the late Homer and Claudia (Houde) Roy. She was the last surviving of seventeen siblings. She became a US citizen in 1941.She married George Rouillard. Marie Anna worked several years at the Woolen Mill and later worked at Mayberry Shoe Factory in Rochester, NH until her retirement at the age of 62. She enjoyed decorating the house during the holidays and loved her animated characters. She loved to give chocolate to all those that visited her.She is predeceased by her husband, George who passed away in 1998, one son Albert Rouillard.She is survived by her daughter, Rita Lavallee and her husband, Raymond of Sanford, sons, Joseph Fernand Rouillard and Andre Donald Rouillard both of Florida, 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.Visiting hours will be on Monday from 6 to 8PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
