Ronald D. Rodrigue

SHAPLEIGH Ronald D. Rodrigue 42 died Sunday at Maine Medical Center following a lingering illness. He was born in Sanford April 5, 1966 a son of Donald J. & Lorraine J. (Hupe) Rodrigue. He attended grade school in Shapleigh and was a 1985 graduate of Massabesic High School. Until the time of his death, Ron was employed as a machinist at Pratt-Whitney in No. Berwick for the past eighteen years. He was employed at the former Gene's Bakery, Hannaford's and Dunkin Donuts in Sanford. Later he was manager at Mister Donuts in Portsmouth.Ron was a communicant of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church in Springvale. He was a member of the Lafayette Social Club, the Wolves Club, Springvale Social Club and the Elks.He was quite a cook according to his parents and siblings. He also enjoyed the Patriots, Red Sox and horeshoes.Survivors are his parents, of Shapleigh, his daughter, Tasha N. Rodrigue of No. Berwick, his sister Patricia Margolis and her husband Mark of Shapleigh, his three brothers, Jimmy and his wife Kathy of Wells, Daniel and his wife Beverly of Lebanon and Andrew and his fiancee Kelly of Shapleigh. Aunts Sandra Bicknell, Nacy Townsend, and Uncles, Richard, Maurice and Michael Hupe.Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 8 :30 AM Thursday in St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, St. Ignatius Church, Sanford.
