Donna R. Robertson

Donna R. Robertson, 70, of Alfred, passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday September 9, 2018 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford. Her daughter Meri was at her side. She was born on July 25, 1948.She was an active member of the East Waterboro Baptist Church. She enjoyed and loved knitting. Over the years she donated all that she did to children, especially those in need and most recently to the residents of Eastside Acres in Sanford.She is predeceased by one son, Edward Travers.She is survived by her husband, Lawrence W. Robertson of Alfred, daughter, Meri Hatch and her husband, David of Sanford, son, Allen Travers and his wife, Tori, of Oklahoma, one sister, Monica, 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.2 Corinthians 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and we would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord."A Memorial service for Donna will be held on Sunday September 16th at 4PM at the East Waterboro Free Baptist Church, 213 Main Street, East Waterboro with Pastor Charles Storey officiating. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 3PM until the time of the service.
