Connie J. Ramsey

Connie J. Ramsey, 81, of Sanford, died August 12 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland after a brief illness.She was born in Sanford on April 1, 1927, a daughter of Willie and Alice (Laitres) Bergeron.Connie attended local schools, was a 1945 graduate of Sanford High School and attended the Gorham State Teachers College.She had been employed over the years at the H. D. Goodall Hospital and at the former Sanford Trust Company, both in Sanford.On November 15, 1947 she married William Ramsey at Holy Family Church.She was predeceased by her parents, a sister Rachel Ralston, a brother Paul Bergeron and by a granddaughter, Jennifer Cuddy.Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, William Ramsey of Sanford, 2 daughters, Michele Tremblay and her husband Ron of Sanford, Marsha Cuddy of Reading, MA, 4 grandchildren, Aaron Tremblay and his wife Nicole, Jason Tremblay and his wife Corinna, Christine Cuddy, Kathleen Cuddy, 6 great grandchildren, Jordan, Brendan, Kayla, Zachery, Isabella and Olivia, a brother, Lionel Bergeron of Sanford and many nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be on Wednesday (today) from 6-8 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, St. Ignatius Church.
