Frank Polcaro

Frank Polcaro Jr., 84, passed away July 30, 2020 in Titusville, FL where he had been residing seasonally for the past six years.He was born on December 4, 1935 to Frank and Lillian (Decoster) Polcaro in Malden, MA and lived there until the family moved to Newfield. After graduating high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for four years. Frank was a member of the Freemasons of Limerick.He was employed by F.R. Carroll, Inc., a concrete company in Limerick for many years and retired from there.As a younger man, Frank was a carpenter and thoroughly enjoyed working with wood. Smoking his pipe was one of his favorite hobbies, although he did quit for health reasons some years ago.Frank was a hardworking man, loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed.He is predeceased by his parents and a grandson, Lance Polcaro Jr.Survivors include his wife of 26 years Claire Polcaro, of Titusville, FL, his children Lance Polcaro and his wife Debbie of Newfield, Susan Polcaro of Limerick, Thomas Polcaro and his wife Joanne of Newfield, step children Darlene Southers-Foster, of Titusville, FL, Cheryl Southers-Pombriant of Sanford,Roy Southers and his wife Shannon of Springvale, his brother Richard Polcaro of California, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grand children.A grave side service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, at 10:00 A.M. at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 82 Stanley Rd. in Springvale.To leave a message of condolence click tab at left.
