Marie D. Poissonnier

Marie D. Poissonnier, 92, of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday February 20, 2013 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford. She was born in St. Agatha on May 17, 1920 a daughter of the late Joseph and Gloriuse (Rossignol) Corriveau.She attended St. Agatha Schools and resided in upper Frenchville until she moved to Sanford in 1969. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.She is predeceased by her husband, Maurice Poissonnier who passed away in 1971, sisters, Bernice Guerette, Cecile Guerette, Blandine Chasse, Bernadette Lavertue, half brothers, Marcel Corriveau, Adrien Corriveau, Joe Corriveau.She is survived by her children, Madeline Levesque and her husband, Allyre of Sanford, Verna Puckett and her husband, Richard of Nokomis, FL , Claudette Bard of Bristol, CT, Rita Taylor and her husband Clifford of Wethersfield, CT, Lionel Poissonnier of New Britain, CT, Richard Poissonnier of Sanford, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, step brother, Paul Emile Corriveau of CT and half sister, Imelda Doiron of CT.Visiting hours will be on Friday from 6 to 8PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM at St. Theres of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church in Sanford.
