Thomas E. Perron, 46, of Sanford, died on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover.Thomas was born in Biddeford on November 1, 1970 to Roger and Nancy (Floyd) Perron. He grew up in Sanford where he attended local schools, graduating from Sanford High School in 1989. Following graduation he attended Hesser College where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in business management. He had been employed for the past 14 years at Home Depot in Rochester and had been a communicant of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish.Thomas was a huge film buff. He made it a point to see movies as soon as they would come out and then post a review for people to see on his Facebook page. He had an extensive film collection and also a large collection of movie posters. He was a big fan of the Star Wars movie franchise and loved watching Dancing with the Stars. He was very excited to have recently had the opportunity to attend a live taping of the show and meet the cast members. Thomas was a happy and outgoing man with a great sense of humor and many friends. He will be remembered as a kind and loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend and will be dearly missed. Thomas was predeceased by his Mother, Nancy Perron.Surviving are his father, Roger Perron of Shapleigh; his sister, Lisa Perron of Sanford; his aunts and uncles, Gerard Perron of Presque Isle, Albert and Fran Perron of California and Lucille Perron of Alfred and his cousins, Mark Perron, Ronald Perron, Albert Perron, Jr. and Michelle Perron.Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 7:00 PM on Monday, April 17th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home located at 580 Main Street in Springvale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 18th at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, located on North Avenue in Sanford.
