Beatrice G. Pepin

Beatrice G. Pepin, 84, a lifelong resident of Sanford, passed away peacefully on Friday February 10, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Sanford on March 24, 1927, a daughter of the late Lucien and Eva (Tellier) Goudreau. She attended local schools graduating from St. Ignatius High School in 1946.Upon graduating she immediately began working for the town of Sanford as a clerk. She was then employed by the former Sanford Goodall Mills in the payroll department. After their closing she went to work in the payroll department for Alloy Products. She retired in 1983 after many years of employment with the former Sanford Trust Company.She was a lifelong long communicant of St. Ignatius Parish. She looked forward to meeting her girlfriends on Friday's and going out to lunch. She also enjoyed going to Foxwoods to play the slots as well as knitting sweaters and stockings for the children.She is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Donald D. Pepin.She is survived by her children, Janet Moreau and her husband, Donald of Arizona, Gerard Pepin and his wife, Michelle of Sanford, John Pepin and his wife, Kimberly of Sanford, grandchildren, Keith Moreau, Dawn Corliss, Talia LaPierre, Colby and Heidi Pepin and Britney and Makenna Pepin, great grandchildren, Tyler Corliss, Haley and Cassidy Moreau and Ashley and Eli LaPierre as well as her sister in law, Constance Pepin.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church in Sanford.
