Daniel Pelletier

Sanford- Daniel Pelletier, 58 of Acton, died unexpectedly the morning of September 6, 2011. He was a loving husband, father, Pepere, friend, coach and teacher.Dan was born on August 15, 1953 in Sanford to Leon and Una (Roussin) Pelletier. He graduated from Sanford High School and married the love of his life Stella, to whom he was married for 38 years. Dan graduated from Sanford High School in 1971; he went on to obtain a degree from Nasson College in business and education. Dan taught at Sanford, Massabesic and Noble High Schools where he also coached baseball and basketball. Dan became an accountant and realtor and he became owner of the Stanley Agency. He was a hard working, caring and compassionate man who was always willing to put others' needs ahead of his own. He always liked to have fun and enjoyed life to its fullest. Dan was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids, grandchildren, and friends on Great East Lake in both the summer and winter.Dan is survived by his wife Stella, his sons Ben, Alden and his wife Jayme, his daughter Cassie and her husband Carl, as well as four grandchildren who will deeply miss their Pepere, Wesley, Jayden, AJ and Camellia. He is also survived by his sisters Pauline, Joanne, and Donna and his brother Robert. He is deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. A funeral service will take place this Friday at 3PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
