Janice L. Peasley

Janice Stuart Peasley passed away unexpectedly on October 16 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford. She was 38 years old.Janice was born in Brunswick on December 9, 1967, a daughter of J. Brooks and Jeanne (Morgan) Stuart, Sr. She attended the SENH Christian Academy in Somersworth, NH, graduating in 1985.She was employed by Spence & Mathews Insurance Agency in Berwick.Janice was a member of the North Berwick First Baptist Church where she played the piano and was involved with the choir. She was also an active member of the Noble High School Football Boosters.Described as an eternal optimist, her love of life was displayed in her untiring service to friends, community, church, in anything in which she involved herself.She enjoyed music, scrapbooking, catering and especially shopping!Survivors include her husband of 9 years, Stephen C. Peasley of No. Berwick, a son, Jesse B. Stuart of No. Berwick, her parents of Winter Haven, FL, a sister, Jill Guptill and her husband Mark of Milton, NH, a brother, John B. Stuart, Jr. of Lebanon, her mother in law, Jeannette Allen and her husband Albert of Alfred, 2 brothers-in-law, Leon F. Peasley and his wife Kathy, Kenneth J. Peasley and his wife Kathy, 2 sisters-in-law, Joanne P. Alley and her husband Dan, Jeannette E. Peasely, 4 nephews, Brian J. Peasley, Nathan L. Peasley, Samuel L. Peasley, Tyler M. Guptill, 4 nieces, Courtney T. Alley, Erin E. Alley, Rebeccah Peasley, Jordan M. Guptill and many aunts, uncles and cousins.Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 11 AM at the New Covenant Baptist Church, 285 Maple Street, No. Berwick, with Pastor Paul Johnson officiating.
