Margaret A. Parent

Margaret A. Parent, 92, of Sanford, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 15, 2015 at the Lodges in Springvale. She was born in New York on June 16, 1923 a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Shay) Ruff.Margaret was a beautiful warm and kind spirit that had a way of opening her heart to everyone she met and in doing so touched their hearts.She raised her family in Salem Massachusetts and moved to Sanford some 25 years ago. She made the Sunset Towers her residence until March of 2015. She loved to play cards with her family and bingo with her friends in Sanford. She enjoyed life, the joy of all the people she encountered and walking the beach.She is survived by her children John, Carol, Kathy and Janet, seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.She will be missed by all she touched.A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 24th at 1PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford.
