Marilyn J. Pare', 71 years old, of Sanford, ME died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at her home in Sanford.Marilyn was born on December 21, 1935 in Sanford, ME. She was the daughter of the late Wallace and Evelyn Reid. She attended Sanford schools, and lived in the area most of her life.Marilyn spent many years serving the community as a hairdresser. For brief time she also worked for Vishay-Sprague. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Ignatius Church, and she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and was an avid reader.Surviving is a son Roland L. Pare and his wife Christie of Brandon, FL, a granddaughter Mallory, a grandson Lawson; three brothers, Richard Reid of Mass., Jerry Reid of Strong, ME, and Steven Reid of Tenn.A 9:30 AM committal service for Marilyn will be held this Monday, October 1, 2007 at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.Services for the Pare' family have been arranged through the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home of Springvale, ME.
