Kenneth John Nason

Kenneth John Nason, 47 years old, passed away at his home after a short battle with cancer.He was born on March 19, 1956 in St. John's Newfoundland. After growing up throughout the United States and Canada he settled in Maine. He was a graduate of Sanford High School and the University of Southern Maine class of 1979.Ken enjoyed literature, pottery making, and stamp collecting. He was a longtime resident of Springvale, and took great joy in helping family, friends and his neighbors.Predeceasing him was his father Conrad in 2002.He is loved and missed by his mother Anne Nason of Sanford, his wife Nancy Nason and their two children Vanessa and Michael Nason of Springvale, a sister Mary Libbey of Waterboro, a brother Ernest Nason of Sanford, and his grandmother Doris Nason of Sanford.An 11:00 AM graveside service for Ken will be held at the Notre Dame Cemetery on Friday July 18, 2003.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Visiting Nurse Service, 15 Industrial Park Rd., Saco, ME 04072.
