Kathleen M. Morrison

Kathleen Morrison, 67, of Sanford died on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen was born in Sanford on June 21, 1948 the daughter of Robert and Marjorie (Langley) Libbey. She attended local Sanford schools. While in high school, she met her husband of 48 years, Dennis and they were inseparable. Together they raised two daughters.Kathleen worked various jobs including Sprague Electric in Sanford and especially enjoyed her job at Sodexho preparing and cooking for Meals on Wheels. She was a crafty person and liked to crochet afghans and make things for others. Kathleen was also a big animal lover, with a special affection for strays, and adopted many stray cats.She had a great sense of humor, and always had a joke to make others laugh. What she did take seriously was caring for those she loved and she will be sorely missed.Survivors include her husband, Dennis Morrison, two daughters, Robin Smiley and her husband David, of Wakefield, NH, Kerri Hutson and her significant other Chris Nemec, of Kyle, Texas, a grandson Cameron Berry, a granddaughter Emily Smiley, and a brother Robert Libbey and his wife Mary, of Waterboro, also several other friends and family members.
