Maurice J. Beauchesne

Maurice J. Beauchesne, 73, of Portland died recently at his home.Maurice was born in Sanford on December 31, 1933 to William and Irene Cordeau Beauchesne. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and the Merchant Marines. Maurice had worked as a barber at Tucker's Barber Shop in Sanford. He was a solitary man and enjoyed spending time at his home.Surviving are 2 daughters, Michelle Murray of North Berwick and Mona Beauchesne of Sanford; a brother, Armand Beauchesne of Sanford; a sister, Theresa Cecile Rankin of Oklahoma; 1 granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, June 20th at St. Ignatius Cemetery, located on Berwick Road in Sanford.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Disabled American Veterans Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. Arrangements are through Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home in Springvale.
