Raymond J. Morin

Raymond J. Morin, 87, of Lake City, Florida, passed away on Thursday November 20, 2008 in Lake City, Florida. Born in Sanford on May 13 1921, he was a son of the late Albert and Florida (Burbank) Morin.He served his country during WWII in the US Army. He retired from the FAA where he had been employed as an inspector. After retirement he started Airworthiness Consultant. The nature of his work allowed him to travel extensively all over the world certifying airplanes.He is predeceased by one brother, Claude Morin. He is survived by his sister, Lucile Rondeau of Sherbrooke, P.Q., Canada, brother, Roger Morin of Sanford, sister, Paulette Davies of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, sister, Angela Mailhot of Sanford.Visiting hours will be on Monday from 5 to 8 pm at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11am at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish-Holy Family Church in Sanford.
