Donalda Morin

Donalda G. Morin, 85, of Waterboro, died at her home on Friday, July 27, 2007.Donalda was born in St. Fortina, Canada on April 25, 1922 to Francis and Maryanna Fortier Guay. She married her husband Ernest on June 20, 1942 recently celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary and together they raised four children.Mrs. Morin and her husband lived in Wells for approximately 30 years where they operated several different businesses. She had been a member of St. Mary's Parish in Wells and Notre Dame Church in Springvale. She will be remembered as a fun loving woman who enjoyed life, family and friends. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.Surviving are her husband, Ernest Morin of Waterboro; two sons, Gerald Morin of Port Richie, FL and Robert Morin of Lyman; two daughters, Ann Morin of Spring Hill, FL and Carol Butler and her husband Ben of Waterboro; a brother, Fern Guay of Sanford; four grandchildren, Stacey Morowitz, Tina Spicer, Samantha Morin and Taylor Morin and four great-grandchildren, Tim, Nick, Emily and Ethan.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church in Springvale. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Macular Degeneration Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 531313, Henderson, NV, 89053.
