Florence L. Morin

Florence L. Morin, 79, of Sanford, died March 29 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford after a brief illness.She was born in Sanford on September 14, 1926, the daughter of John and Edith (Grant) Littlefield. She attended Sanford schools and was a graduate of Sanford High School.She had been employed as a seamstress at the former Aletta Dress Shop and as a stitcher at the former Nike Shoe Shop, retiring some years ago.At her happiest taking care of the house and being home with her family, she did like to shop and to out to lunch.Her husband, Camille E. Morin, died in 1993, and she was also predeceased by a brother, Elwyn Littlefield.Survivors include 4 sons, Philip Morin and his wife Elaine, Armand Morin, Gregory Morin and his wife Shelley, all of Sanford, Ronald Morin of Springvale, 2 daughters, Yvonne Normand and her husband Rodney of North Berwick, Debra Maddox and her husband Richard of Sanford, 2 half-sisters, Arlene Wood of Harrison, Lorraine DeDominico of New York, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in Springvale.
