Katherine G. Morgan

Katherine Gray Morgan, 95, of Burlington, North Carolina and formerly of Sanford and Limerick, passed away in Burlington, North Carolina on April 14, 2007. She was born in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada on September 30, 1911, a daughter of Guilford and Minnie Bell (Shaw) Gray.Mrs. Morgan attended the Gorham Normal School and taught one year in Shapleigh. She then devoted her time to raising her family.She is predeceased by her husband, George A. Morgan who passed away in 1992, as well as four sisters and three brothers.She is survived by one daughter, Janice M. Skiver and her husband Paul of North Carolina, two sons, Gray C. Morgan and his wife, Mary Jane of New Hampshire, Robert G. Morgan and his wife of Virginia, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.A funeral service will be held on Saturday April 21st at 11am at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale.
