Anita E. Michaud

Anita E. Michaud 87 of Sanford died Saturday at H. D. Goodall Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Sanford January 11, 1920 a daughter of Marcelle T. & Rose (Perreault) Michaud. Anita was educated at the former Holy Family and St. Ignatius schools.She was employed at the former Goodall-Sanford textile mills from 1936 until their closing in 1954. Later in 1964 she went to work at the former Jagger Bros. Mills and retired from there.A life long resident of Sanford, Anita was a long time and faithful parishioner of St. Ignatius Church.Survivors are her daughter Laurina Lord of Sanford and her brother Lawrence Michaud of Portland, along with four grandchildren and a great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 :00 AM Wednesday in St. Therse of Lesieux Church, St. Ignatius parish.
