Gloria P. Mercier

Gloria (Breton) Mercier of Lebanon passed away peacefully on April 6, 2014, surrounded by her immediate family.Gloria was born in Dover, New Hampshire on July 24, 1948. She will always be remembered for her absolute love of cooking, gardening, and crafts. She will be dearly missed by her children and grandchildren. Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Gregory Mercier and her father, Lionel Breton.Surviving are her three children; son, Scott Mercier with his wife Julie Mercier of Wasilla Alaska and their two children; Nicolas Mercier and Taylor Mercier with wife Kirsten and their daughter McKinley (great granddaughter) of Whitman Air Force base Missouri; daughter Kimberly (Mercier) Bennett with husband Jamie Bennett and their daughter Sarah Bennett of Caribou Maine; daughter Jennifer (Mercier) Shorey with husband Brent Shorey and their two children; Justina Shorey and Austin Shorey of Lebanon Maine. Gloria is also survived by her mother, Florence (Breton) Morrissette, sisters and brothers; Lorraine Stevens, Susan Beam, Donna Lapanne, Dennis Breton, Denise Adams, Lisa Crowley, and Glenn Breton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and family.The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all those that have taken care of Gloria at the Greenwood Center and a special thank you to everyone at Hospice.A private service will be held by her immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Care.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
