Mary Betty Marks

Mary "Betty" Marks, 75, of Sanford, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday June 19, 2017 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born in Massachusetts on March 22, 1942 a daughter of the late Charles and Melvina (Martineau) Martin.She is predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Desmond Marks.She is survived by her children , Joy Carter of Yuma, Arizona, Kelly Johnson of North Waterboro, Bob Desmond of Shapleigh, Lori Marks of Wells, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Marie Martin and Gert Bouldger both of Massachusetts.A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 30th at 11AM at the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.Arrangements are under the direction of the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
