Marie P. Lolley

Marie P. Lolley, 93, of Sanford, died November 27 at the Newton Center in Sanford after a brief illness.She was born on March 17, 1920 in Jamaica Plain, MA, the daughter of Alexander and Ethel (Marchbank) Joyce.A 1937 graduate of Sanford High School, she married her high school sweetheart Winston "Bud" Lolley on April 19, 1941 in Marlborough, MA. Bud passed away in 1998.Mrs. Lolley attended the North Parish Congregational Church.She volunteered at Books Revisited, enjoyed golf, dancing and gardening.Survivors include her daughter Joan Brochu and her husband Michael of Fort Lauderdale, FL, son Richard Lolley and his wife Pamela of Kennebunk, son Robert Lolley and his wife Carmina of Nashua, NH, grandchildren Keith Lolley and his wife Shannon, Kevin Lolley, Adam Lolley and his wife Peggy, Dianna Dumont and her husband Gregory, Evan Lolley, Elizabeth Brochu, Rebecca Schwartz and her husband Sam, Michael Brochu and his wife Patricia and 15 great grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford. After the burial, a reception and luncheon well be held at the Heald Family Center, 574 Main Street, Springvale.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Sanford school system's Backpack Program, P.
