Marion Lewis

Marion F. Lewis, 66, of Acton, passed away at her home on May 26, 2015. She was born in Scotland on January 12, 1949 a daughter of the late Hamish and Isa Whyte. Marion was a native of Sandbank, a small town in Scotland. She was very proud of her Scottish roots and "all things Scottish." As a young woman she married a Sailor and became a "Navy Wife" raising three "Navy Brats". She was devoted to her family and embraced the Navy life, enjoying the many people and places in her 20 plus years of service. Cooking and baking were a passion though she was extremely talented enjoying arts and crafts. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Harry "Louie", her sisters Liz and Evelyn, her children James and wife Charlotte, Lisa and husband Dave, Jason and wife Sheila, her grandchildren Bryanna, Mackenzie, Morgan, Malcom, Joshua and Hannah. In her home all close friends were family.A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 4th at 12:30PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. Family and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home beginning at 11AM until the time of the funeral service.
