SANFORD Silvio Paul Lembo, 88, formerly of Boston died Tuesday at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford following a short illness. He was born in So. Boston, MA, on August 29, 1920, the son of Michael & Rose (Arico) Lembo. Paul was educated in Boston and was a graduate of the Boston Trade School. He was a resident of Sanford since 1984 having moved here from Dorchester, MA.Paul enlisted in the Army during WW II and served in the Air Corp from 1943 to 1945. He was a barber by trade and later was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusettes Department of Employment Security retiring from there.Paul was pre-deceased by his parents, brothers Vincent, Anthony and sister Josephine Lembo.He is survived by his brother Nicholas Lembo of Dorchester, MA and several nieces and nephews.A period of visitation will take place Saturday from 8 :30 to 9 :30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 :00 AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in New Clavary Cemetery in Mattapan, MA.In lieu of flowers it is suggested that contributions in Paul's memory may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 or the York County Food Rescue, P.O.
