A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, January 17 at 2:00 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale for Helen J. Lekas. The Reverend Canon Susan Murphy, Rector of St. George's Episcopal Church in Sanford will officiate.Miss Lekas, 81, died January 13th at the Newton Center in Sanford after a long illness.Burial will be in the spring at Maplewood Cemetery in Parsonsfield.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
