Dennis M. Legere

Dennis M. Legere, 54, a longtime resident of Sanford, passed away in Biddeford on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was born in Sanford on March 19, 1961 a son of Paul and Pauline (Roux) Legere. Dennis graduated from Sanford High School in 1979. He then pursued studies at the Maine Maritime Academy graduating in 1983.For many years Dennis was employed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. He then worked as a Licensed Commercial Trucker. An avid sports fan Dennis had a passion for the Boston Red Sox.He is predeceased by his father, Paul who passed away in 2005.He is survived by his mother, Pauline Legere of Sanford, siblings, Steven Legere of Springvale, David Legere of Berwick, Michelle Slack of Wiscasset, Marcel Legere of Sanford.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 2nd at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
