Marcelle F. LeBrun, 71, of Sanford, died Friday at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following a long illness. She was born in Dalton, NH on September 28, 1936, a daughter of Felix & Marie (Moreau) Frechette. She was educated at Our Lady of the Mountains Academy in Gorham, NH graduating in 1954. Marcelle moved to Sanford in 1957 coming here from Whitefield, NH. She was formerly employed at the Hallmark Store from 1987 to 1993. In 1994 she went to work at Primecare in Sanford, retiring in 2007. Her family and especially her grandchildren were what she held most dear.She was a communicant of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, a member of the Ladies of Ste. Anne and RSVP. Her husband Gerard died in March of 2007. Survivors include her five children: Rachel Sanchez and her husband Luis of Danville, NH, Brian LeBrun and his wife Pam of Springvale, Keith LeBrun of Lake Elsinore, CA, Gary LeBrun and his partner Del Wilson of Portland, Sharon Gullage and her husband John of Rochester, NH, and her nine grandchildren, Pete, Matt, Zachary, Elise, Hillary, Eliza, Luke, Eric and Hayden; eleven brothers and sisters, Paul Frechette of New Hampshire, Robert Frechette of Florida, Raymond Frechette of California, Gerard Frechette of Missouri, John Frechette of New Hampshire, Michael Frechette of Maine, Sr. Felix Marie nee Rita Frechette of New Hampshire, Noella Pay of New Hampshire, Sr. Rose Phillipine nee Pauline Frechette of Massachussets, Elizabeth Sullivan of Massachussets, Bernadette Duval of Massachussets.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday from 6-8 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church. A private burial will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery at a later time.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Waban Projects, 5 Dunaway Drive, Sanford, ME 04073 or the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, c/o Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 US Route 1, Scarborough, ME 04074.
