Michael LeBrun

SANFORD Michael D. LeBrun 63 died Thursday at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following a long illness. Mike was born in Sanford January 20, 1945 a son of Arthur & Lucina (Desharnais) LeBrun. He was educated at the former Holy Family school, and was a graduate of the former St. Ignatius High School with the class of 1963. He also attended Burdett College in Boston earning an associate degree in business & marketing.A life long resident he was employed at LeBrun's Menswear for 31 years. Mike later worked as an auto salesman for Walter Reeks dealership from 1991 until he retired in 2007.Mike was a faithful communicant of St. Theres of Lisieux parish, Holy Family Church. He was an avid walker and was often seen walking with his wife Janet.Survivors are his wife of 41 years Janet (Curry) LeBrun of Sanford, his son Scott of Newton, MA, three daughters Michelle Sullivan and her husband Jason and children Jordyn and Jacob of Kennebunk, Debra Falconieri and her husband Gino and son Luke of Scarborough, and Angela LeBrun of Providence, RI. Three Brothers, Roland LeBrun and his wife Jeannine of Sanford, Conrad LeBrun and his wife Gloria of Somersworth, NH and Richard LeBrun and his significant other Joanne Masure of Springvale. Two sisters, Lucille Edwards of Nashville, TN and Trudy Carignan and her husband Ray of Dover, NH and many nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 :00 AM Monday in St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
