Verna L. Leach

Verna L. Leach, 75, of Sanford, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford.Verna was born in Sanford on April 17, 1932 to Chester and Evelyn Sprague Thompson. She spent her life as a homemaker and raised three children.Mrs. Leach was predeceased by her husband, Roland M. Leach.Surviving are three children, Keith Leach and his fiance Anne Williams of Salmonville, NH, Debbie Myers and Julie Mitchell; a brother, Clifton Thompson of Conway, NH and two granddaughters, Adrienne and Jessica Leach.Arrangements are under the direction of Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 163 Lancaster Street, Suite 160B, Portland, Maine 04101.To leave a message of condolence, please click on the condolences tab to the left.
