Diane M. Lavalley

Diane Marie Lavalley, 52, of Sanford, passed away on May 27, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Sanford on August 13, 1957, a daughter of Phillip and Marlene (Martineau) Lavalley. She attended local schools graduating from Sanford High School in 1976.For many years she worked for her grandfather, Albert at Lavalley Lumber at various locations. For six years she operated D & K Depot in Springvale. Her last job was making donuts at the Lakeside Cafe for Paula Guay. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family in Greenville. She loved gardening and decorating for the holidays. Window shopping was a great past time of hers. There were many card games and dice rolling this past year. She took loving care of Armand Roberge for five years.We will always remember her beautiful smile, colorful sense of humor and dedication to family.Diane is predeceased by her father, Phillip who passed away in 2007.She is survived by her loving mother, Marlene Lavalley of Sanford, devoted partner of 26 years, Robert Roberge, two brothers, Patrick Lavalley and his wife, Lisa of Sanford, Andrew Lavalley and his partner, Nancy of Acton, one sister, Kathleen Lavalley and her partner, Rob of Alfred, three step children, Robert Roberge Jr., of Portland, Ryan Roberge and his partner Beth of Waterboro, Danielle Roberge of Berwick, several step grandchildren, two nephews, Albert Lavalley of Acton and Michael Morissette of Waterboro, numerous step nieces and nephews, caring aunts, uncles and cousins and a boat load of friends through life's journey.At Diane's request there will be no formal funeral services.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Seacoast Cancer Center, C/O Wentworth Douglas Hospital, 789 Central Ave, Dover, NH 03820.To leave a message of condolence for the family please use the "condolences" tab to the left.
